Q1

How do you feel about teaching in China?

A

Teaching in China is always interesting for me. I’m learning a lot about Chinese culture but most important: about people.

Q2

How do you feel about Haida?

A

Haida is my company. I'm working here, and it seems we are in good relationship. I think loyalty is both directions. I have to say thank you to my agents Autumn and Vicky for always there helping when any problem was coming up.

Q3

How do you feel about your school?

A

I teach Spanish in the High School attached to Zhejiang University. Students are really interested in foreign language and western culture.

Q4

What is it like living in China?

A

Nowadays living in China is better and better. It's better than two months ago. Of course I wish daily life return to normality and not back to the COVID situation. About Hangzhou? It's my city! I live here. I like Hangzhou. I like mountains, parks, west lake, my neighborhood, and the people, the e-bikes as well!

Q5

How does teaching benefit you?

A

The main benefit I reach from teaching Spanish in Hangzhou lays how important is communication between people. From my teaching job, I’m grateful when I see the students more and more confident with the new language, and can slowly step by step open their eyes to a new world.

Facing the new era and new orientation, Hangzhou, a fertile land, has become a dream land and a dream city for talents from all over the world. We hope that in the future, more excellent foreign talents will join Haida family and go hand in hand to make a new chapter in the internationalization of education!
