Spring Festival Couplets for New Year in Hangzhou

12月21日，海达杭州培训室洋溢着节日的热情，今天举行的是用中国书法写春联的外教活动。
On December 21st, the training room of Hangzhou Haida office was crowded. There was an activity for foreign teachers to write Spring Festival couplets by using Chinese calligraphy.
书法和春联都是中国传统文化的代表，我们先将它们的起源和寓意介绍给外教们，然后开始让他们尝试着书写一些简单的笔画。很多外教们都是第一次尝试，竟然都写得有模有样。难度提升，我们开始教他们写一些简单的汉字。我们把汉字书写笔顺拆分开，方便外教们摹写。经过一番练习，有些外教们甚至能写出一些笔锋。
Calligraphy and Spring Festival couplets both represent Chinese traditional culture. Firstly, their origins and backgrounds were introduced to the foreign teachers. Then the teachers tried to carry out some simple strokes. Although it was the first time for many teachers, they wrote quite well. Later they followed the stroke order rule and began writing some simple Chinese characters. Some of them could even include some vigor and strength in the writing.
最后是写春联环节，外教们有了之前的练习，加上我们事先准备的是描红版春联，外教们写得非常得心应手！快看，大家都迫不及待的展示自己的作品呢。
The final step was to write the Spring Festival couplets which were specially designed for calligraphy beginners. Because of the previous practice, the foreign teachers seemed very proficient in writing the Spring Festival couplets. Look, everyone couldn't wait to show their works.
